Dog Harness Size Calculator

The Dog Friendly Co size calculator will help to determine which harness size is best suited to your breed of dog.
You can choose by breed, or input custom weight and chest circumference measurements.
How to Measure your Dog:
  1. Chest Size: Use a tape measure to determine the chest size. Measure around the widest part of your dog's chest, usually right behind the front legs. This provides the most accurate measurement for a correct fitting harness. Refer to image below
  2. Alternative Measurements: If you don't have your dog's chest size, use both weight and breed to determine the best harness size. Weigh your dog using a scale and refer to our breed guide in the drop down below if you're unsure about the typical size range for your dog. For the weight, we can recommend XXS for 3-4 kg and XS for 5-7 kg.
  3. Choosing Between Sizes: If your dog is between sizes (1-2 cm towards the end of a size range), opt for the larger option for a wider dog and the smaller option for a narrow dog to ensure a comfortable fit.
Note: The most accurate way to determine the right size for your dog will be to measure your dogs chest. Weight and breed is recommended as a guide only.
